This packet includes four library literacy centers based on HOW TO READ A STORY by Kate Messner. Centers focus on Library standards: I can grow, I can share, I can create, and I can think.

I can THINK center: students will sequence the key ideas of the story.

I can SHARE center: students will sort true/false statements.

I can CREATE center: students will create a reading fort using colorful cubes and other building materials.

I can GROW: students will listen to the feedback of others. (simple rubric included)
